Our current limiting M.V. fuses Fusarc-CF are back up type fuses and their main purpose is to safely protect MV switchgear (up to 36 KV) from the dynamic thermal effects caused by short-circuit currents bigger than the minimum breaking current of the fuse.
MESA fuses are provided with strikers (depending on types), valid for indication of their correct operation and for tripping the devices associated to them.
